Hourly packages · valid for 12 months

Hours in reserve. Valid for a year.

45+ clients since 2017

For everything that does not fit the maintenance plan and does not need its own quote. Consulting, marketing, small adjustments, coaching. You buy a balance of hours up front, and I bill only the time I actually spend.

01
What for

Why keep hours in reserve?

Six typical cases. If yours is not among them, get in touch anyway.

  • Marketing & SEO

A newsletter through Brevo or Mailchimp, Google Ads, on-page SEO, content tweaks. Usually 2 to 4 hours per newsletter.

  • Consulting

Which tool, which solution, which provider. I am not tied to any vendor and recommend what fits your case.

  • Adjustments

Small changes to your website or shop: a new module, an extra form, a tweak to a WooCommerce shipping rule.

  • Coaching

WordPress training for your team, hands-on, online or on site. Typically 2 hours per session.

  • Setting up tools

A link to your accounting (bexio), newsletter, web analytics, a cookie banner. Set up cleanly and briefly documented.

  • Emergency

A plugin update broke the layout, the form stopped sending, the newsletter domain got flagged as spam. Response within 1 business day (Mon to Fri).

02
Packages

Three sizes.

Paid up front, valid for 12 months, billed in 15-minute increments.

Discount for maintenance customers: 10 % off all hourly packages (WordPress or custom-built maintenance).

03
Distinction

What hourly packages are not.

Instead: fixed quote

A new website

I quote web design projects at a fixed price, in stages. That way you know what the website costs from the start.

Instead: maintenance plan

Ongoing operation

Hosting, updates, backups and monitoring run through the maintenance plan, not through hourly packages.

Instead: separate quote

Complex integrations

An ERP integration, a multilingual multi-site setup or a shop migration are projects in their own right, each with its own quote.

04
FAQ

Frequent questions.

  • How long is an hourly package valid?

12 months from the day your payment arrives. Any unused hours expire on that date. There is no extension.

  • How is it billed?

You pay for the package up front. I bill in 15-minute increments and send a monthly overview with your remaining balance.

  • What is the difference from the maintenance plan?

The maintenance plan covers ongoing operation (hosting, updates, backups). Hourly packages are for active work beyond that (marketing, adjustments, consulting).

  • Do I get a discount if I am a maintenance customer?

Yes. Maintenance customers (WordPress or custom-built) get 10% off all hourly packages, however many you buy in a year.

  • What if I need more hours than the package holds?

You book another package. I get in touch as soon as fewer than 2 hours remain, so the work does not stall.

  • Is this suitable for web design projects?

No. I quote a new website at a fixed price. Hourly packages are for the ongoing work after launch.

  • What if I only need a single hour?

Then you book a single hour at CHF 180 instead of a package. Packages start to pay off at around 4 hours, since the hourly rate is lower.

  • Can I split the package, for example across two projects?

Yes. The package is not tied to one project. You can spend hours from the same package on SEO, marketing and a small shop adjustment.

  • Are phone calls and emails billed?

Quick questions under ten minutes are not. Longer calls where we actually work through your issue are, and they show up in the monthly overview.

  • What if you take longer than estimated?

For a specific task I give an estimate up front. If I am clearly going to run over it, I get in touch before carrying on. You decide whether I continue or stop.

  • Can I return a package?

Unused hours are not refunded. If we see after the first call that the package does not fit, you do not buy it in the first place.

  • What about confidentiality?

An NDA, of course, if you want one. Either way, I never pass on anything I learn while working with you.
