Why WooCommerce with bexio fits Swiss businesses.
An order becomes an invoice, automatically
As soon as payment goes through in the shop, the handover to bexio happens in the background. Customer created, invoice issued, payment recorded. You never have to move data from one system to another.
At ten orders a day that saves you a lot of manual re-typing every day. At a hundred orders, running without the connection is no longer realistic.
Swiss payment methods built in
TWINT for mobile orders, credit card for larger amounts, pay by invoice with QR code for business customers. Apple Pay and Google Pay right in the checkout on mobile.
When the preferred payment method is missing, many people abandon the purchase.
How I work.
- 01
First conversation
We work out your product range, the systems to connect, payment methods and timeline. 30 to 60 minutes, free of charge.
- 02
Concept and fixed quote
You get a written quote with a clearly defined scope and price.
- 03
Build on a test address
Shop, products, bexio connection, payments, shipping. You can follow progress on a non-public address at any point before we go live.
- 04
Go-live and handover
Test orders, fine-tuning, training. After that the shop runs. I stay available for maintenance and changes.
Does that sound like a workable route?
I look at your product range first.
What that means day to day.
- bexio is the Swiss accounting standard for SMBsTens of thousands of Swiss SMBs use bexio. Run a shop without a connection and you end up re-keying every order by hand.
- WooCommerce gives you full controlUnlike Shopify, the data, the extensions and the design are yours, and the shop software itself carries no monthly subscription. Fees only turn up where they are unavoidable: with your payment provider and with paid extensions.
- TWINT and QR from day oneTWINT, QR invoice, credit card and Apple Pay work from day one. Without them you lose orders.
- Scalable from 20 to over 5'000 itemsWooCommerce grows with you, whether you are a small maker or an established retailer with a wide range.
Price
Mid-sized shops with individual design, multiple languages or a configurator usually land between CHF 12'000 and CHF 25'000. Fixed quote after the first conversation.

Common questions.
-
What does a WooCommerce shop with a bexio connection cost?
A simple shop with up to 50 products and a bexio connection from CHF 9'000. With multiple languages, a configurator or special logic typically CHF 12'000 to 25'000. Fixed written quote after the first conversation.
-
How does the bexio connection work technically?
Through the official bexio API. Each order is passed to bexio as either an order or an invoice, and the customer is created in the CRM. We decide which fields get synced when we work out the concept.
-
Can stock levels be maintained in bexio?
Yes. Stock levels can be mirrored from bexio into the shop or the other way around. Which side takes the lead depends on your workflow.
-
Can an existing shop be migrated to WooCommerce + bexio?
Yes. Products, order history, customers and URLs can all be migrated. A clean redirect strategy matters here, so your Google rankings do not drop.
-
Which payment methods can be added?
By default TWINT, credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), Apple Pay and pay by invoice with QR. Other providers such as PostFinance, PayPal or Klarna on request.
-
Who takes care of updates and maintenance?
I handle maintenance and updates as part of the maintenance work, together with the daily backups and smaller changes. For shops I price the plan individually by scope, because payments and the order process have to be checked as well. The basis is the same as for website maintenance. Response within 1 business day (Mon to Fri).
-
Do I still need my own hosting?
No. WooCommerce shops run with me on my own server in Germany (Falkenstein data centre, EU). Hosting, SSL certificate and daily backups are part of the maintenance, including under the individually priced shop plan.
-
Is WooCommerce secure enough for a Swiss shop?
Yes, as long as updates are applied regularly and the hosting is solid. I take care of both as part of the maintenance. WooCommerce is one of the most widely used shop systems in the world.
-
How long does the build take?
A simple shop in 4 to 8 weeks. A mid-sized shop with individual design and several languages in 8 to 16 weeks. Complex projects with an ERP connection from 4 months.
-
Can I maintain products myself?
Yes, that is the usual setup. After a short training session you can manage products, prices and orders yourself. If you prefer, I can take that on too.
