The starting point

Sanigroup GmbH is a specialist retailer for household appliances with an assortment of 6,000+ products. Behind the scenes, a locally hosted SAP and a Windows Exchange Server kept the business running. Both systems were heavy to maintain and the running costs no longer matched the size of the operation.

The brief: a new brand, a modern online shop, and an operational setup that eases the team’s daily work while moving the infrastructure into a modern cloud setup.

Brand & shop

It started with the brand. Wordmark, colour palette and usage rules were created from scratch and now run consistently through the shop, mailings and customer communication.

The shop itself runs on WooCommerce. With 6,000+ products a menu alone doesn’t get you there, so a search with instant results was set in from day one: matches appear while you type, without an intermediate page. Structured product imports and disciplined data care keep the assortment clean over time.

From local SAP to the cloud

Alongside the shop I replaced the SAP setup and the Windows Exchange Server and moved the operation into modern cloud tools. bexio sits at the centre: orders, customer data and payments now sync between shop and bexio without a manual step.

Reach

So the shop also gets found outside its own site, two channels are wired in directly: a toppreise integration for the Swiss price-comparison platform, and a Google Shopping integration. Both channels pull their items from the shop, so the range doesn’t have to be maintained a second time.

On the marketing side I take care of the newsletter setup and ongoing campaigns, the Google Ads, and the SEO over time.

Care

Domain, email and the performance hosting also run with me. That way brand, shop, marketing and infrastructure work together without the team having to coordinate interfaces internally.

The outcome

Two maintenance-heavy local systems became a continuous cloud setup. The brand carries one handwriting across every touchpoint, shop and accounting run together without a manual step in between, and the range is additionally wired into toppreise and Google Shopping.
